North American Rare Bird Alert (NARBA) has been notifying birdwatchers of the rarest birds seen in North America in one form or another since 1985. In the 2000s, it went online, and has existed on different platforms over the years. Recently, the American Birding Association was gifted the project, and asked Tanager to help rebuild the site on a more contemporary technology system. We provided some visual and user experience improvements, as well as a full technological rebuild to make the site easier to manage for the staff who gather and post alerts.
